Terms + Conditions

Age: You must be 18 years of age or older to become a member.

Member Requirements: We require all members to be entrepreneurs who own the business they are representing. Members are required to treat others with respect, which is outlined below under Eligibility, Suspension or Termination.  

Your responsibility: You promise that the information you give us is true, accurate and complete. You also promise to not share member-only content outside of your membership. This includes, but is not limited to, website content, coupon codes, private information about The Collective Group, LLC, etc. Failure to keep this promise will result in your membership being under review and possible termination from The Collective Group, LLC. Membership is non-transferrable. You are also responsible for any use of The Collective Group, LLC site that occurs in conjunction with your username and password.

Renewal: Your membership will be reviewed on an annual basis, and your credit card on file will be charged upon renewal. Membership renewal is not guaranteed, and The Collective Group, LLC can choose to not renew your membership if you no longer fit membership criteria.

Fees and Charges: You will be charged annually for your membership, and your credit card on file will be charged. Failure to pay your membership can result in membership termination. Your membership is non refundable for ANY reason.

Prices: Membership, workshop, or networking event pricing is subject to change. We will clearly communicate price changes via email to our members.

Workshops: Members can attend workshops at half the cost of ticket prices. The half-off price does not apply to all events, such as specialty workshops, seminars, speakers, etc. Members will still have access to ticket sales to these specialty events before the public and will be notified of the ticket price discount via email.

Networking Events: These will be for members only unless otherwise stated. Pricing will vary for each event but will be clearly communicated to members via email.

Artisan Markets: There are no discounts given to members for our Artisan Markets, whether they come to shop or attend as a vendor. Members are not guaranteed a vendor space in our markets and must go through the application/jury process. If a member is not accepted, The Collective Group, LLC is happy to give them an honest explanation on why they were not chosen, if requested.

Eligibility, suspension, or termination: Membership is not an automatic right - it is a benefit for entrepreneurs who follow our rules and treat others with respect. We reserve the right to review and/or terminate your membership at any time for any of the following reasons:

A. If you breach these terms
B. If you act in a way that does not align with the values of our community 
C. If you act in a way that could cause us, or members, harm in any way
D. Failure to pay your membership fee
E. Failure to agree to our Terms & Conditions

This is a positive environment for entrepreneurs to grow and learn, and we expect everyone to be treated with respect. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment, speaking negatively/taking negative action toward other businesses and acting in a way that doesn’t show support of others. Basically, if you’re a jerk, your membership will be reviewed, which could ultimately result in membership termination. NO REFUNDS will be given for terminated memberships.If we decide to terminate your membership, you may not apply for a new account and will no longer be welcome at any of our events.

Prohibited Conduct: The Collective Group, LLC was founded on the idea of a healthy, supportive community, and behaviors and actions not conducive to our community will not be tolerated. Such behaviors and actions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Provide false information, such as a false email address, impersonation of others, a misrepresentation of yourself or your business

  2. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to private content or computer systems 

  3. Enter any arrangements that are not consistent with The Collective Group, LLC values 

  4. Use information gathered through your membership in a way that may mislead or confuse consumers

  5. Attempt to negatively impact The Collective Group, LLC or its members in any way

  6. Use of The Collective Group, LLC or any of our content in a way that violates applicable law, intellectual property other rights of us or others, or that is fraudulent, obscene, unprofessional, offensive, misleading or defamatory

  7. Modify, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, transmit, create derivative works from, perform, copy, license, sell or re-sell content, information, software or items obtained from or through The Collective Group, LLC

  8. Use of membership benefits by someone other than a paying member

Cancellation: You are free to cancel your membership at any time by contacting us via email. No refunds will be given on membership fees for any reason.

Data Protection: The Collective Group, LLC shall implement and maintain reasonable procedures for protecting personal information in compliance with applicable law and The Collective Group, LLC privacy policy/confidentiality agreement.

Privacy Policy/Confidentially Agreement: The Collective Group, LLC and the member agree to keep any and all confidential information that is obtained about the other strictly confidential. “Confidential information” refers to any information or matter concerning the business, finances, technology or affairs of the other party which is not the public domain (other than the breach of this clause) but does not include any information that either party is required to disclose by law or which has come into the public domain other than by breach of this clause. This clause shall survive even if membership is terminated.

Amendment Clause: The Collective Group, LLC is free to unilaterally change the membership terms and conditions without giving further notice to the individual member. Such changes will take immediate effect (unless otherwise stated). The Collective Group, LLC will publish changes to the terms and conditions on its website, and members will be notified via email and given a chance to cancel their membership within five days of the date of the email. No refunds will be given for cancelled memberships. Members are responsible for keeping themselves up to date in relation to any changes to the terms and conditions.

Liability Disclaimer: I hereby AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS The Collective Group, LLC from any loss, liability, damage or costs that may incur due to participation in The Collective Group, LLC activity, including (but not limited to) workshops, networking events, member events and artisan markets.

The information is provided by The Collective Group, LLC, and while we endeavor to keep the information up to date and correct, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the website or the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the website for any purpose. Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk.

In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits, arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this website.

Through this website you are able to link to other websites which are not under the control of The Collective Group, LLC. We have no control over the nature, content and availability of those sites. The inclusion of any links does not necessarily imply a recommendation or endorse the views expressed within them.

Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, The Collective Group, LLC takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.
