A NOTE FROM CAITLYN BENSON

You’ve thought about it. Googled it. Maybe even opened a few therapist profiles and then decided, “I’ll deal with it later.”

Well… it is October now...

I’m opening a limited number of new client spots for adults who are tired of feeling stuck, burned out, or like they’ve already talked something to death without actually feeling any different.

My approach is tailored to the individual and I never use a one-size-fits-all perspective. I specialize in trauma work and EMDR, with a particular passion for working with first responders, helpers, and people who are really good at holding it together. Well, until they’re not.

If therapy has been sitting on your mental to-do list, consider this your cue to finally cross it off.

New client appointments available beginning in October. Call, text, or email to set up a phone consult: (219) 395-6301 / caitlyn@resiliencyrecoveredllc.com

HEAR FROM CAITLYN

You’re probably used to being the one who shows up when everything goes sideways. The problem is, that gets heavy when you carry it all the way home too. I work with first responders, veterans, trauma survivors, and other high-stress professionals who are tired of white-knuckling their way through burnout, irritability, bad sleep, numbness, or the stuff they “should be over by now.” We’ll skip the therapy fluff and figure out what’s actually keeping you stuck by build a treatment plan that makes sense for YOU. And maybe this sounds like you, but you're a stay-at-home mom (a high-stress job we do for free...), I'm here for you too!

My philosophy is simple: I don't want people stuck in therapy forever. I want them treated and graduated. I offer trauma-informed therapy using approaches such as EMDR, nervous-system education, and practical skill building. Sessions are collaborative for the person in front of me. It's not just about a diagnosis or a textbook.

I know how frustrating it can feel to sit across from someone who understands mental health on paper but doesn’t really understand the world you live in. I’m a Marine Corps veteran, and I’ve also spent years working directly alongside first responders in high-stress situations and crisis response, so reach out! I'm ready to help you.
