About the event
Join us for a candid, community-centered conversation designed to connect members of The Collective with the people shaping our region.
On June 17, we’re gathering at Burn ‘Em Brewing in Michigan City for a relaxed, non-partisan round table with elected officials. This is an opportunity to step outside the noise and into a space built for real conversation, clarity, and connection.
Congressman Frank Mrvan and State Senator Rodney Pol Jr. will be joining the conversation, along wit
La Porte City Mayor, Tom Dermody and La Porte County Councilman, Justin Kiel.
This is not a campaign event. There will be no debating, no negativity, no tea and absolutely no shade.
Instead, we’re creating a space where our members can:
Learn what each role in government actually does and how it impacts our community, local economy, and everyday life
Ask questions in an open, respectful environment
Build relationships with local leadership
Gain insight into how to better navigate and engage with their community
Our members include small business owners, creatives, nonprofit leaders, and change-makers who are actively shaping this community, and this space is built for all of you!
Expect a casual, welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful conversation.
Bring your questions, have a seat at the table and come ready to be part of the conversation.
Please note, this is a private event for members of The Collective only and seating is limited. RSVPs must be made prior to the event, no later than June 12th.
