About the Event
The Farmed & Forged Giving Market is a special community pop-up created in response to the federal shutdown and temporary pause in SNAP funding. Hosted by The Collective Events, Inc., this indoor market will take place the weekend before Thanksgiving in Michigan City and La Porte.
It’s designed to get fresh, locally sourced food into the hands of families in need while supporting small businesses and raising funds for local food pantries. Each market will feature local vendors, kids’ activities, and community partners, just like a regular Farmed & Forged event, with a mission-driven twist focused on giving back and feeding our neighbors.
VENDORS

Be apart of something special
Vendors are at the heart of every Farmed & Forged market, and this special Giving Market is no different. We’re inviting local farmers, food producers, and artisan makers to join us in creating a meaningful community event that not only supports your business but also helps families access fresh, local food before the holidays. It’s a great way to showcase your products, connect with new customers, and be part of a market that gives back in a big way.
LOCAL SUPPORT
Support The
Salvation Army
The Salvation Army plays a vital role in feeding and supporting families across La Porte County, and right now, the need is greater than ever.
All donations collected through the Farmed & Forged Giving Market will go directly to the Salvation Army of Michigan City and La Porte to help restock pantry shelves and provide essentials to local families before the holidays.
