I have 5 kids, 3 dogs and a kitty. I was a stay at home mom for 10 years-that's when my son and I started gardening. He and I have been growing and arranging bouquets together since he was 3 (he's now 12). I also grew up helping my grandmother plant all the flower beds at the church she belonged to in Chesterton (where I'm from).

Fast forward a handful of years. In 2020, I moved to Laporte with my fiancé. Alan and I have both had lower back surgery, and I've also had neck surgery. While cut flower farming is probably the most counterproductive thing for our bodies, it's something we both really love doing. Alan decided we should start growing cut flowers because he saw a sparkle in my eye that I only had when gardening. But we also saw a challenge and a market and decided to give it a shot.
