About Jeny

My family and I have resided in Ogden Dunes, IN for the past 12 years, and I am married to my husband, Aaron, for 23 years. Our oldest daughter attends Purdue University and is majoring in Wildlife Conservation. Our younger daughter just graduated high school and will be attending Northern Michigan University for Business and Marketing. Our son will be starting his sophomore year of high school at Chesterton.

I have been in the beauty business nearly my entire life and basically grew up in a salon. Shortly after finishing cosmetology school, I was hired on at the most exclusive salon at the time, The House of Bianco. There, I really dug into learning spa services, including waxing. Waxing soon became my service of choice. Self-taught, I was the first to offer Brazilian waxing outside of Chicago long before the service became popular. After having children, I no longer could manage a salon schedule. I thought my career time was over, however my clients just wouldn’t let that happen. I began visiting a handful of clients at their homes for waxing. I had no idea how popular my home visits would become. After 4 years it became The Waxi Taxi. What started with about 12 dedicated clients has grown to well over a thousand between my associate and me.

My business has afforded me the time I needed to raise my children, the opportunity to volunteer and the financial stability to send them to college. Plus, I have met the most amazing people in the process. I couldn’t be more grateful!

The Waxi Taxi offers expert and professional body waxing services, with offices in both Chesterton and Michigan City Indiana.
