As a mother of two and an educator, I have always been passionate about creating beautiful things.
My passion for creating has been a constant source of inspiration for me, and I have been fortunate enough to turn that passion into a career. As an educator of 10 years, I have had the privilege of sharing my love of learning with students of all ages. I believe that every person has the ability to create, and I strive to inspire others to tap into their own creativity.
I am now proud to call myself a candle artist, specializing in hand-made concrete vessels that are as unique as they are stunning.
The Big Spoon Shoppe offers luxe candles that use eco-friendly products and vessels that are handcrafted by me from concrete.

FAVORITE PASTIME OR HOBBY
I enjoy going to the dunes not only for walking but to read a good book and rock hunt with my family. I love to travel and visit art studios. And enjoy yoga.
PARTY TRICK, USELESS TALENT, OR FUN FACT
This is a tough one. A family tradition that I love to do around Halloween is the pumpkin head challenge. This is where you carve a pumpkin head and put it on and do a family portrait. My family and I have had so many giggles doing this that we have made this a family tradition for the last three years.
WHY DO YOU ENJOY BEING A MEMBER OF THE COLLECTIVE?
Because it gives back to the community and supports entrepreneurs with skills to help them grow as individuals and as a company. I enjoy making bonds with my customers and the community.
